Description
The STIHL HLA 56 extended-reach hedge trimmer gives homeowners the reach and battery-powered performance to take on more challenging hedge maintenance. As the first extended-reach hedge trimmer in the STIHL AK System, it runs on the same 36-volt lithium-ion battery as other tools in the system. A cutting speed of 2,800 strokes per minute delivers clean, efficient cutting, even through larger branches, while the double-sided cutting blade cuts in both directions to help keep the work moving. At 11.1 pounds with the AK 20 battery, the HLA 56 combines lightweight portability with comfortable control. The articulating head adjusts to seven positions from -45° to +70°, giving you the flexibility to match the cutting angle to the task, while the ergonomic loop handle makes it easy to guide cuts in any direction. A blade cover helps protect the cutting blade during storage and transport, rounding out a thoughtfully designed tool for keeping hard-to-reach growth well maintained.
